# Is my phone compatible with eSIM?

Most phones made since 2018 support eSIM. It is worth checking yours before you buy.

## How to check

- **Model list:** see the list by system and brand at [linkiglobal.com/en/compatible-devices](https://linkiglobal.com/en/compatible-devices).
- **On your phone:** dial `*#06#`. If a number called **EID** appears, your phone supports eSIM.

## When it may not work

- If you bought the phone on a contract, or it is **locked to a carrier**, it may not allow installing another provider's eSIM. Ask your carrier whether they can unlock it.
- Some models sold in certain countries do not include eSIM even when the same model does elsewhere.
